Obit: Prebil, Richard (1930 - 2003)
Wednesday, November 12, 2003 edition of the Clark County Press Richard Prebil Richard Frank Prebil, 73, Willard, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2003 at his home. There will be no funeral services. Richard Frank Prebil was born Sept. 14, 1930, in Willard, to Frank and Alice (nee Klancher) Prebil. He attended Willard Grade School and Greenwood High School. He married Kathleen Trott on July 20, 1991, in Rock Dam. He was an ironworker for 40 years and was a supervisor for Price Erecting, Milwaukee, until his retirement in 1988. After his retirement, he worked part time as a grader operator for the Town of Hewitt, the Town of Sief, and the Town of Foster. He served on the board of the Town of Foster for four years. In 1953, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after having served in Korea. He was a member of the American Legion Post 375 for more than 25 years. His interests included working in his shop, hunting, and playing cards with his friends. Survivors include his wife Kathleen Prebil, Willard; three sons, Robert (Lori) Prebil, East Troy, William Prebil, Waukesha, and Joseph Prebil, Waukesha; three daughters, Catherine Schultz, Eagle, Susie (Scott) Anstedt, Rockford, Ill., and Janet Prebil; two stepchildren, Mary Koepp, Sheboygan, and Timothy Koepp, Grafton; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Petkovsek, Willard and Sandra (John) Herdahl, Spooner; parents-in-law, Jerry and Magdalene Lochman; brother and sister-in-laws; and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; and one sister, Virginia Himes, California. |
