Below is a photo which I found in my mother's album which I'm fairly certain would have been taken in Fairchild, WI where she attended High School from 1937 - 1941). Her family, the Podrovitz', actually lived in Tioga, Hendren Twp., Clark Co., WI. She was the last child born (in 1923) and none of her siblings had attended the Fairchild schools. She was the only one who went to high school. She stayed with a Steinke family in Fairchild so she could attend school during the Wisconsin winters. She then went on the Eau Claire business school and the Waves, then married my father.
