Source: The Clark Republican and Press Date: 8-25-1897 Miss Winnie Wall entertained about 35 of her friends at progressive cinch at her home at the Merchants Hotel, last Saturday evening. Prizes where awarded to the best and poorest players, of which Will Campbell and Miss Bessie Lindsay received the first prize and C. Krumrey and Miss Kitty Kountz the booby. About 11 o’clock a dainty lunch was served in the dining room, and after thanking their young hostess for a very pleasant evening, departed to their several homes. |
