Marx Building Sold: Last week Peter Marx exchanged his brick store, hotel and saloon building on Seventh street with William Pischer for his farm of 160 acres in the town of Fremont. Mr. Pischer will take possession July 1st.

H. W. Klopf arrived Tuesday morning from the far west via Chicago. His return was hastened somewhat by the sickness of his father and mother. Mrs. Klopf remained in Salt Lake City with Miss Ollie and Frankie Huntzicker.

Jas. Sturdevant is an old log-driver and has a little old time pride in his ability to ride a "bucking" log. One morning this week he mounted a vicious bit of timber down at Ross' Eddy to show the boys how it was done, but somehow it got the start of him and he "was out of sight" for a few moments. The water was cold.

Andrew Emerson's fine farm residence north of Loyal was injured by fire on the night of April 23. Fire damage was also done to household goods.

William Morrison arrived from Baltimore on tuesday, to take charge of the furniture factory.
