Clark Co. Chronicle - C. G. Stowe returned last week from Prentice, where he has been putting up Aermotor windmills for D. J. Kinne and the two Emerson boys. He has also put the same kind of mills up for B. Frasier, D. Irvine, Al. Darton and Fred Gross recently.

O. H. Altman last week shipped a carload of maple cant-hook stocks that he had made out of the timber on his farm. He has a large contract for this product, which is practically a new industry at this place.

Wm. Gillman went to Neillsville to spend Thursday with his family, his daughter, Edna, accompanying him back. She returned next day to resume her school work in La Crosse.

LOYAL TRIBUNE – F. W. Draper, Clerk of the Court elect, was up from Neillsville Monday. He has moved his household goods to Neillsville and has taken up his residence for the term of his office. He has resigned his office of Town Clerk of Loyal and Arthur Allen has been appointed to fill vacancy.

Crocker’s Livery Sold. On Monday Robert Eunson purchased the livery business of E. E. Crocker. With the business he gets ten horses, buggies, surreys, wagons, cutters and sleights, and everything that goes with them, harnesses, robes, blankets, etc. He has a span of horses of his own which will make twelve horses to start with. Mr. Eunson has had extensive experience in the livery business and will aim to keep teams and rigs in nice condition. He will continue in Mr. Crocker’s barn, corner of Grand avenue, and Fifth street.
