Marie Felix

Marie G. Felix, 55, Loyal, died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 29, at 11 a.m., at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Loyal.

Marie Gertrude Klink was born , to Paul and Marie (nee Heimerl) Klink, in Watertown. She was raised and educated in Watertown and graduated from the Academy of St. Benedict, Madison, in 1966. She married Noel "Bud" Felix on Oct. 18, 1969, at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Watertown.

The couple resided in West Allis. She then attended Sacred Heart School of Practical Nursing, Milwaukee, and graduated in 1971, with a licensed practical nursing degree. She worked for the Milwaukee County General Hospital until they moved to Loyal in 1972. She was employed by St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where she worked for seven years. She then went to work for the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, until retiring in 1982, due to a disability. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its P.C.C.W., the Live and Learn Homemakers, and had many interests including ceramics, sewing, and craft work.

Survivors include her husband, NOel Felix, Loyal; one daughter, Rebecca Felix, Loyal; one son, Noel (Tracy) Felix, III, Spencer; a twin sister, Paula (Richard) Hom, DeForest; and three brothers, the Rev. Delbert Klink, Merrimac, the Rev. Kenneth Klink, Belleville, and Donald (Lynn) Klink, Madison.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
