Obit: Irish, Mary (1902 - 18 JUN 1930)
Surnames: IRISH JOHNSON ---------Source: OWEN ENTERPRISE (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) 06/26/1930 --------- Irish, Mary (1902 - 18 JUN 1930) The remains of Mrs. Mary Irish were received here Friday night from Chicago, at which place she passed away Wednesday evening, June 18, 1930, following an operation for tumor. Mrs. Irish was the daughter of John K. Johnson, former resident of Owen, Clark County, Wis. Her remains were accompanied here by her brother, Fred Johnson of Chicago. In past years she had made her home in Marshfield, but had gone to Chicago for medical aid. Her husband preceded her in death by two years. Funeral services were conducted from the Congregational Church, Saturday afternoon and burial was made in the family lot at Riverside Cemetery. Those who came to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Christian Johnson, Athens, Fred Johnson, Chicago, brothers of the deceased, and her three sisters, the Misses Clara, Alma and Anna, all of Marshfield. |
