Eugene Edward
Purgett served in the Army Corp of Engineers, Co. C., 105th Div., 2nd Bn. He was
inducted 16 April 1945 and discharged 17 May 1946. He spent time serving in
Japan. He was the oldest son of Charles and Florence Bergstrom Purgett and was
married to Catherine Blume.
