The Family of Joseph & Mary (Ramosh) Plautz

Joe and Mary Plautz lived off Rock Creek Road on the way to Mead Lake and where the Plautz Bros. Home Office was located.  The Black River would be the border of the land on the west.  This area of Mead Township was within the village limits of Willard and served by the Willard Post Office.  Joe and Mary also had a cottage on Mead Lake.  Joe built a new house and it was located east of the original house at Bruce Mound Ave.

 

Mary Plautz died on April 18, 1979.  On Sept 3, 1980 Joe Plautz married Ida (Okerl) Volovsek(b.1914)--former wife of Joseph Volovsek (b.1917-d.2003).  On Aug. 19, 1997, Joe Plautz passed away, and Ida passed on Jan. 19, 2001.  They were all buried in the Holy Family Cemetery in Willard, Town of Hendren, Clark County, WI.
