Letter from Charley Walt

We are in receipt of a letter from Charley Walt, son of Frank Walt.  Formerly of this place, who is now located at Bonifay, Florida, bearing date of May 9th, in which he says:  "We are now living on our homestead and are quite busy clearing up land, plowing and planting.  A good days work, here, is from 6:00 to 11:00, A. M., and from 2:30 until darkness, which comes on about 7:00 o'clock P. M.  Between eleven o'clock and half past two, it is too hot to work in the sun.  Today the mercury reaches 100.  All grains, vegetable, etc. are planted in drills, and sell fertilized and everybody raises good crops."  He further add that the members of their family are all well.....remainder cutoff.
