Leighton O. Morris

Leighton O. was the son of Daniel and Lillian Morris.  He was born July 30, 1874 and died January 11, 1913.  In 1902, he married Christine Ohman.  He is buried in the East Thorp Village Cemetery in Thorp, Withee twp., Clark Co., Wisconsin.

 

Research Notes

I recently located Leighton O. Morris in the 1920 census with the correct wife and children. So obviously, the supposed obit death date of 1913 has to be in error. The census is for Ford, Taylor, WI 1920.

Also Leighton's father Daniel H. Morris is listed twice in the site's cemetery listings with differing death dates of 1919 and 1936. I wonder who the 1936 Daniel could have been since they only had 6 grandchildren, all from son Leighton and none of them were called Daniel, and all were born far before 1836.
