George M. & Cynthia (Streight/Straight) Arnold

Black River Station, Clark Co., Wisconsin

 

 

George M. Arnold was born about 1827 in New York State was married to Cynthia, the daughter of Robert and Betsy Streight (Straight).  He was a lumberman and owned a large number of acres throughout Clark County, Wisconsin.  They resided near Black River Station and had a son, Frank and a daughter, Bessie, who was named for her maternal grandmother. 

 

Cynthia was born November 11, 1831 and died May 8, 1875.  Both she and George are buried in the Neillsville City Cemetery, Pine Valley, Clark Co., Wisconsin.
