Mathias &  Theresia (Nusko) Bollech

Dorchester, Mayville Township, Clark Co., WI

Mathias was born May 25, 1850 in Christenberg, Bohemia, Czech Republic, the son of John Bolloch (b. May 21, 1816 in Christianberg, Ludweis, Bohemia, Czech Republic).  He immigrated to the United States April 18, 1892 through Ellis Island, New York on the "Normannia" along with his wife, Theresia (nee Nusko) and several of their children.  Mathias' sister helped the young family settle in America.  They made their home in Wisconsin where we assume Mathias worked as a shoemaker, just as he'd done in his native land.  Theresia was born May 25, 850 in Christenberg.

Their children were Wenceslas (b. Sept. 1876 in Christenberg, Bohemia, Czech Republic); Mary Ann (b. Sept. 1878 in Christenberg, Bohemia, Czech Republic); Josephine ( b: 3 Jun 1881 in Christenberg, Bohemia, Czech Republic); John (b: 24 Dec 1884 in Christenberg, Bohemia, Czech Republic); Frank ( b: 10 Apr 1886 in Christenberg, Bohemia, Czech Republic); Louis (b: 8 Dec 1888 in Christenberg, Bohemia, Czech Republic); Joseph (b: Feb 1890 in Christenberg, Bohemia, Czech Republic-d. 2 Apr 1914 in Ramsey County, Wisconsin); William Otto (b: 14 Mar 1895 in Wisconsin)
