Jacob John Klein, son of Georgius Klein and Gertrudis Weis, was born in Nierstein, Rheinhessen, Germany June 9, 1851. He emigrated to Sheboygan Co. with his father  and all his siblings, save Joseph, on the ship Abyssinia, that sailed from Liverpool and docked in New York Oct. 31, 1871. In 1874, they moved to Clark Co..

He married Amelia A. Brussow in Clark Co., Wis., May 14,1881  Amelia was born in Brandenburg Prov, Germany September 4, 1862. She was the daughter of Frederich Carl Brussow and Maria Christine Brussow. Amelia immigrated with her parents on the German Ship Name: City of Chester, arriving Port of New York, Oct. 22, 1877. Jacob and Amelia had two sons and raised Annie as their own in Town of Beaver. Annie was supposedly the daughter of Charlie Brussow and his Polish fiancé.

Amelia died August 22, 1922 in Tn. Beaver, Clark Co., Wis., at 59 years of age. Buried with Jacob in Pinegrove Cemetery.

AMELIA  BRUSSOW KLEIN was born in Germany Sept. 4, 1862. She came to America in the year 1874 with her parents and resided in Freeport IL for about two years and then came to Wisconsin in 1876. She was married to Jacob Klein on the 14th. of May, 1881, to which union were born two sons, Richard of Waukesha and Emil at home. There remains to mourn her departure, her husband, her sons, four grand-children, three sisters, one brother and other relatives. Mrs. Klein has suffered for several years from the results of a broken hip, but the immediate cause of death was apoplexy. The stroke occurred on Sunday Aug. 20 and her death resulted on the following Tuesday Aug. 22. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. E. Knaak at  home in the town of Beaver. Internment in the Dodgeville (Pine Grove) Cemetery.

 

Jacob died June 20, 1935 in Tn. Beaver, Clark Co. Wis., at 84 years of age. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery on 22 June, 1935

 

OBITUARY - June, 1935 - Loyal, Wis.

Jacob Klein was born in Germany, June 9, 1851, and passed away at the home of his son, Emil in the Town of Beaver, June 20, 1935, aged 84 years and 11 days.  When a boy of only 20 years, Mr. Klein came to America, and located in Wisconsin. He first worked in the Town of Rhine, Sheboygan Co.  Two years later he  came to Clark County and began  working at the Phillip Rossman sawmill, in the Town of Beaver, only half a mile from the place of his death.  He bought what is now known as the Stayton farm and  purchased another about three miles northeast of here. He traded that farm for his homestead, which became his home.  Here he reared his children and lived the remaining forty-five years of his  life.  Only 15 acres of this land  was cleared when it came into his possession, the remainder he cleared and brought under  cultivation himself.  The last lumber that he helped to saw at the Rossman mill was used in the building of this home. He was united in marriage to Miss Amelia Brussow on May 12, 1881. To this union were born two boys, Richard, now of Waukesha, and Emil, Town of Beaver. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and was laid to rest  in the Pine Grove Cemetery, by the members of that order. Mr. Klein was one of the early settlers of Clark County when he came here, there were no roads to either Loyal or Greenwood.  He lived to see the vast forests disappear, farm-houses and barns erected, and hundreds of villages and towns laid out and the whole frontier wilderness change to a well organized community with schools and churches and all the other necessities of this modern age.  He had his full share in all this.  As a lumberman, he helped to produce the material for hundreds of homes and as a primitive farmer, he endured all the hardships and privations of pioneer life. He leaves only his two sons, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild, his wife having preceded him in death on August 24, 1922. He was a true friend, a good neighbor, a kind husband and father and was respected by all who knew him, most of his close friends, however, have long since passed on. Mr. Klein had unusually good health for a man of his age, until last fall. Since that time he gradually failed; still he was able to walk about until last Saturday when he became bed-fast. He sank to rest at 8:00 A.M. on Thursday  morning, death being the result of a general decline  caused by old age.

Jacob John Klein and Amelia A. Brussow had the following 3 children:

Anna Marie Klein  was born in Brandenberg Province, Germany February 4, 1877 and died March 21, 1933. She married Adolph Paul Rossmann in Clark Co., Wis., October 27, 189. Adolph was born in Plymouth, Wis. May 22, 1862.  He was the son of Phillip Rossmann and Mary Angeline Dohogne. See more in Rossmann Family History posted in biography section under Phillip Rossmann.

Richard Carl Klein was born in Clark Co., Wis. Jan 23, 1882 and died Oct. 12, 1953 in Waukesha. He married Margaret Alvina Kopp in Waukesha, Wis., April 30, 1908. Margaret was born in Milwaukee County, Wis. Jan. 18, 1878. She was the daughter of Karl Fredrick Kopp and Anna Maria Happel. Margaret died Mar. 18, 1942 in Waukesha, Wis., at 64 years of age. Margaret's health deteriorated for several years before her death. She wanted to live to see her first grandchild . About a year later, they moved to Tn. of Beaver and lived there for abt. 11 years, before returning to Waukesha. Daughter Marie’s eye and hand was injured permanently in Beaver. Then she was bitten by the dog (Carlo). Within a year, Richard  moved the family back to Waukesha. Thinking back to her childhood in 2000, Marie has some doubts that her injuries on the farm had much to do with the family moving back to Waukesha. It occurred to her that the land had been cleared by the time they left, and firewood was getting scarce.

Mrs. Margaret Klein, who died Wednesday, will be buried Saturday at 1:30 pm. from the Erling Larson funeral Home. Sisters of the Rebekah lodge will hold a service at the funeral home at 8 pm. Friday. Survivors  include her husband, Richard, one daughter, Mrs. Marie Farrell, Waukesha; two sons; Robert of  Waukesha, and Jacob of Shawano; two grandchildren, Robert and John; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Barelman and Miss Charlotte Kopp of Milwaukee; and one aged aunt, Mrs. Louise Stamm, 91, of Milwaukee. Members of the Waukesha Odd fellows lodge will act as pallbearers. Internment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery with Dr. A. E. Gregory officiating. 

She is buried in Waukesha, Wis., Prairie Home Cemetery.

Richard died Oct. 12, 1953 in Waukesha, Wis., at 71 years of age.

OBITUARY - Waukesha Freeman:

Richard C. Klein, 71, died Monday night at his home, 1033 Genessee St.  He had been ill for three years. He was born Jan. 23, 1882, in Clark Co., where he worked in the lumber camps as a logger and a cook. He came to Waukesha in 1903. (After marrying he did move back to Clark Co. between 1910 and 1920.) He operated the Broadway meat market for a number of years and later worked as a carpenter. He was affiliated with the local carpenter's union until his retirement several years ago. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd fellows for 30  years and of the Rebekah lodge. He worked for the interests of  youth of the Theta Rho girls club sponsored by the Rebekah lodge, and also the boy Scouts of the troop of  the First Presbyterian Church. He was formerly a member of the Hustisford Rod and Gun club and the Waukesha conservation club. He was also a member of the EFU lodge. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Franklin Farrell, two sons, Robert C., of Waukesha, and Jacob J., of Shawano, three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Marie Klein, Waukesha, Charlotte Kopp, Madison, and Mrs. Emma Barelman, of Los Angeles; one brother-in-law, Frank Myrose of Wind Lake and five grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death in 1942.

The funeral will be held at 3pm , Thursday at the Erling Larson funeral Home with burial at Prairie Home Cemetery. Members of the Odd fellows lodge will be the pall-bearers. Odd fellows will hold a service at 8:30 pm  Wednesday at the funeral home. The body will be in state after 5 pm Wednesday.

He is buried in Waukesha Prairie Home Cemetery.

Robert Carl Klein, son of Richard, was born in Waukesha, Wis. and died December 8, 2005 in Manitowoc, Wis.

He married Gertrude Ann Lemke in Rockford, Illinois, March 10, 1933. They lived in Waukesha. Gertrude was born in Manitowoc, Wis. June 29, 1909. She was the daughter of Friedrich Wilhelm Carl Lembke and Elizabeth Jacquette. Gertrude died September 2, 2000 in Manitowoc, Wis., at 91 years of age.

St., Manitowoc, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000 at her residence Funeral services will be held Sept. 7. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial, will be Rev. Dave Hoffman. Burial on Sept. 8 at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waukesha. Gertrude was born June 29, 1909, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Jacquette Lembke. On March 10, 1933, she married Robert Klein in Waukesha. The couple lived in Waukesha until 1947, when they moved to a farm in Waukesha County. They lived there over 20  years before moving to Wauwatosa for a few years and then Auburn Lake, north of Kewaskum. In 1989, they moved to Manitowoc. Gertrude was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Klein, Manitowoc; two sons, Robert J. of Manitowoc and John R. of Biscayne Park, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret & Don Stuppy of Yorktown, VA; a sister, Helen Crowley of Viroqua, WI; a sister-in-law, Marie Farrell, Waukesha; two brothers, Victor Lemke of Muskego and Robert Lemke of Milwaukee; seven grandchildren and one gr. grandson. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and other relatives and  friends. She was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers. Pfeffer Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Robert died December 8, 2005 in Manitowoc, Wis., at 96 years of age.

Robert C. Klein, age 96, of 1125 N. 9th Street, Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, December 8, 2005, at his residence. He was born January 30, 1909, in Waukesha, son of the late Richard C. & Margaret Kopp Klein. Robert moved to Clark County with his parents when he was an infant. Ten years later, they returned to Waukesha, where he was active in Waukesha High School sports. He loved fishing, hunting, living in a rural setting and was an avid story teller. On March 10, 1933, he married the former Gertrude Lemke in Waukesha. The couple lived in Waukesha until 1947, when they moved to a farm in Waukesha County. They lived there for over 20 years before moving to Wauwatosa for a few years and then Auburn Lake, north of Kewaskum. In 1989, they moved to Manitowoc. Gertrude preceded him in death September 2, 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Robert J. Klein, Manitowoc, who has cared for him the past 15 years, John Klein, Vero Beach, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret & Don Stuppy, Yorktown, PA; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are other relatives and  friends. Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by a younger sister, Marie Farrell and a brother, Jacob.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Hoffman with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha on Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at 11 a.m. The family will greet relatives and friends between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Robert Carl Klein and Gertrude Ann Lemke had three children, all living in 2008.

Marie Anna Klein, dau. of Richard, was born in Clark Co., Wis. Mar. 26, 1911. She married Franklin John Farrell in Waukesha, Wis., Sept.16, 1939. They had no children and except for a few years in Cincinnati, they lived and died on Gennessee St. in Waukesha.

Franklin was born in West Allis, Tn. Greenfield, Milw. Co. January 13, 1908. He was the son of Harvey Farrell and Mabel Craven of Sussex. Franklin died February 13, 1981 in Waukesha, Wis., at 73 years of age.

Franklin J. Farrell, of Waukesha, died Friday Feb. 13, 1981 at Mt. Sinai Medical Center , age 73 years. Beloved husband of  Marie A. (nee Klein). Brother of Charles M. (Mildred), Greenfield. Also survived by nieces , nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services 4:30 pm. (today) at the Larson Funeral Home, Rev. Dr. Stuart G. Leyden officiating. Internment Monday , Prairie Home Cemetery . Closed casket. Mr. Farrell was President of Milradt-Farrell Inc.. Milwaukee and former accountant at Michael Yundt Co., Waukesha. Member International Association Machinists. Memorial appreciated, First Presbyterian Church, Waukesha, or Waukesha Chapter, American Cancer Society.

Marie died October 14, 2001 in Waukesha Hospital, at 90 years of age.

Marie A. Farrell, of Waukesha, born on March 26, 1911 in the Town of Beaver, WI, the daughter of Richard and Margaret (nee Kopp) Klein, died on Sunday, October 14, 2001 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 90 years. She was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Waukesha High in 1929. She married Franklin J. Ferrell on September 16, 1939. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1981 and a brother, Jacob, in 1982.

She will be sadly missed by her brother, Robert C. Klein of Manitowoc, her nephews, Robert J. Klein of Manitowoc and John R. Klein of Florida, her niece, Margaret A. (Rev. Donald) Stuppy of  Yorktown, PA. Her great nieces and nephews; Dr. Kombis P. (Charlene) Klein of North Carolina, Aryan J. Klein of Stuart, Florida, Michael Stuppy, Sara Stuppy, David Stuppy, John Stuppy and Rachel Stuppy all of Yorktown, PA, her sister-in-law; Marjory W. Klein of Green Valley, Arizona, Mrs. Charles Farrell of Greenfield, WI and Susan Langer of Milwaukee, her second cousin; Charles W. “Bill” (Kathy) Rankin Jr. of Waukesha, her grand cousins; Rebecca Rankin, Elizabeth Rankin, Gretchen Rankin, Diana Rankin, Joseph Rankin and Jacob Rankin all of Waukesha and many friends.

Funeral Services for Marie will be Thursday, October 25, 2001 at 1:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 810 N. East Avenue. Chaplain William Humphreys will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials to the First Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.

Jacob J. Klein, son of Richard, was born in Clark Co., Wis. Mar, 30, 1913.and died April 19, 1992 in Green Valley, Arizona. He married Marjorie W. Weber in Shawano, Wis., June 11, 1938.daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert. Weber, Shawano. Marjorie was born in Shawano, Wis. May 17, 1917and died May 2, 2003 in Green Valley, Arizona, at 85 years of age.

OBITUARY- Green Valley, Arizona  

Jacob John (Jake) Klein, Age 79, of Green Valley Arizona, died on Easter morning , April 19, 1992. He was born in 1913 near Loyal, Wis., the son of Richard C. and Margaret A. (nee Kopp) Klein. The family moved to Waukesha in 1920, where he attended Hadfield Grade School and was graduated from Waukesha High School.  After graduating from Carroll College, he taught at Shawano High School for several years. He, and the former Marjorie Weber of Shawano, were married June 11, 1938. He was an officer in the Shawano Canning Co. and president of the board of the Shawano YMCA. After retiring from the Shawano Canning Co., he joined his wife in the operation of  Meadow crest Antiques. They were members of the Wisconsin Antique Dealers, usually participating in the shows and sales at the Waukesha Expo Center. During his life in Waukesha, he was active in the Potawatomi  Area Boy Scouts, serving as the scoutmaster of Troop 5 of the Presbyterian Church after the late E. F. McCauley. He was one of the original members of  the Benjamin F. Goss Bird Club.

He is survived by his beloved wife Marjorie,; his son Jacob C. (Jaycee) Klein of California; sister Marie & Franklin Farrell, of Waukesha; brother Robert C. and Gertrude Klein, of Manitowoc, nieces , nephews, other relatives and friends .He was preceded in death by his parents and his son A. Weber Klein.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday , June 6 at 11 am at Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. The family suggests memorials to Friends of Madera Canyon, P.O. Box 1203, Green Valley, Arizona, 85622.

Jacob J. Klein and Marjorie W. Weber had the following children:

Albert Weber Klein was born in Shawano, Wis. Jun. 18, 1942 and died of cancer December 31, 1959 in Shawano, Wis., at 17 years of age.

OBITUARY - SHAWANO, WIS.

Funeral services were held today for 17-year old Weber Klein of Shawano, son of Marjorie and Jake Klein. The Shawano High School senior died at 8 p.m. Thursday at his home, 517 West Fourth St., after an illness of over a year. He was born in Shawano January 18, 1942 and was a member of the Shawano Lake Boat Club, a sport which he actively took part in and enjoyed. Surviving are his parents and a brother, Jacee. Private rites were held today with Christian Science Reader Fenton Muehl officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Shawano. 

Jacob C. Klein was born in Shawano, Wis. Jan. 26, 1945.  Jacob died Feb. 18, 1996 in Los Angeles, Cal., at 51 years of age.

Jacob C. 'Jacee' Klein, age 51, formerly of Shawano, passed away on Feb. 18, 1996 in Los Angeles, Calif. He was born on Jan. 26, 1945, the son of Marjorie Weber Klein and the late Jacob J. Klein. Mr. Klein graduated from Shawano High School in 1963. He had worked for many years as a school teacher in the public school of Los Angeles. He is survived by: his mother, Marjorie Weber Klein of 611 Paseo de Amigos, Green Valley, AZ. 85614. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert 'Weber' Klein in 1959 and his father Jacob J. Klein in 1992. Graveside memorial services will be held on Sat. June 22, 1996 at 11 am at the Woodlawn Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Kimmer officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the Best Western. Memorials may be designated to the Jacob C. Klein Scholarship Fund c/o Mr. Ron Finley, Hollywood Adult School, 1521 N. Emil Robert Klein, son of Jacob, was born in Clark Co., Wis. Aug. 23,1883 and died Aug. 4, 1938, while in Lake Geneva. He married Marie Yench in Clark Co., Wis., Nov. 30, 1914.

Marie was born in Milladore, Portage Co., Wisconsin Feb. 6, 1891. She was the daughter of Joseph Yench and Mary Shirek. After the death of Emil, she lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Waukesha. After some time after the death of her daughter, she moved to Manitowoc, where two brothers lived. she married Charles Anderson in Manitowoc, Wis., June 27, 1970. Mr. Anderson died a year later. Marie died Nov. 7, 1980 at 89 years of age in the. Family Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Mary Anderson, 89, formerly of 2602 Forest Ave., Two Rivers, died Friday morning, Nov. 7, at Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 11 am. Monday at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. The Rev. James Eckblad will officiate and burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Loyal, Wis. Mrs. Anderson was born Feb. 6, 1891, at Millidore, Portage Co., Wis., the daughter of the late   Joseph and Mary Shirek Yench. She was married to Emil Klein, Nov. 30, 1914 at Clark Co., Wis. He preceded her in death in 1941. She then married Charles Anderson, June 17, 1970. He preceded her in death, Nov. 9, 1970. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Royal Neighbors. Survivors include a son-in-law, Charles Rankin Sr., of Phillips, Wis., Two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Helen Yench of St. Paul Minn., Mrs. Marguerite Yench of Two Rivers; two grandchildren, Charles W. (Debra) Rankin of Waukesha, Mrs. Sharon Evans of Chicago; a great grand daughter, Rebecca Rankin of Waukesha. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Inez) Rankin in 1962, and by six brothers.

Her body was interred November 10, 1980 in Loyal, Clark Co., Wis., Pine Grove Cemetery, with Emil. 

Emil died Aug. 4, 1938 in Lake Geneva, Wis., at 54 years of age.

Emil Robert Klein was born Aug.  28, 1883 in the town of Beaver, Clark County and died Aug.4, 1938  at the age of 54 years, 11 months, and 4 days.  His death, due to a  heart attack occurred while driving home  from Lake Geneva with his wife. At the age of 9 months, he moved with his parents to their farm  north of Loyal where he lived until   his health failing he was forced to seek lighter work, which he found on the Gilmore estate at Lake  Geneva where he and his wife moved 5 months ago. He was united in marriage to Mary Yench Nov. 30, 1914. To this union one daughter, Inez, was born. He was known as a man of  rugged strength and much of his early life was spent in the logging camps of Clark Co. He helped to raise many barns in his community, and was always found at the highest peak. He was a lover of the out door life, and found particular pleasure in hunting and fishing. The last 5 months of his life, he was able to indulge in his favorite sport. He will long be remembered by all who knew him ,as a loving husband and father, as a good neighbor, having many friends. Those of us who love him are glad in the knowledge that he was happy in his work at Lake Geneva. The last hours of his life were spent with his wife watching the sail boats on that beautiful lake. His death, though sudden, was painless. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America. He was buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. Klein is survived by his widow, Marie, daughter, Inez Rankin of Litchfield, Illinois, one brother, Richard, of Waukesha, and many other relatives and friends. His parents preceded him in death. Emil Robert Klein and Marie Yench had one daughter:

Inez Klein was born in Clark Co., Wis. Mar. 20, 1917 and died Mar.28,1962 in Waukesha.

Charles was born in Cheney, Kansas December 24, 1912.  He was the son of William Rankin and Nellie Shellhammer. Charles died April 29, 1999 in Janesville, Wisconsin, at 86 years of age.

He was born Dec. 12, 1912 in Cheney, Kansas, the son of William and Nellie (Shelhamer) Rankin, and graduated from Loyal high School , Loyal, Wis.  Charles lived in Loyal for 20 years, moved to Waukesha, where he lived  for 45 years, then resided in Phillips, Wis. for 17 years, all before moving to Delavan, Wis., where he spent the remainder of his life. He married Inez Klein November 30, 1937 at a private home north of Loyal, Wis.; she died March 28, 1962. Charles worked as a welder for Harnischfeger in Milwaukee, retiring in 1976, and owned Waukesha Archery Center for 5 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Waukesha, was an avid hunter and fisher, and enjoyed archery and camping. Charles is survived by a son, Charles, (Bill) (Kathy) Rankin Jr. of Waukesha, 6 grandchildren - Rebecca, Elizabeth, Gretchen, Diana, Jacob, and Joseph Rankin, all of Waukesha; his wife's cousin, Marie Farrell, of Waukesha; 2 nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents ; his wife, Inez and Daughter Sharon Evens. No services will be held. Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association. Schneider Funeral Home, Janesville is handling the arrangements. Hexe "Rankin: Charles Willard (1912-1999)" was cremated in Janesville, Wisconsin, May 03, 1999.

Inez died Mar.28,1962 in Waukesha, Wis., at 45 years of age.

OBITUARY  Waukesha, Wis.

Mrs. Inez Rankin, 45 of 302 Buena Vista Ave. died yesterday (3-28-62)at Waukesha Memorial hospital, after several months illness. Mrs. Rankin was born March 20, 1917, in Loyal, Wis. and married Charles Sr. there in November 1937. She had lived in Waukesha since 1944. Surviving are her husband , Charles Sr.;  a daughter, Sharon; a son Charles Jr., both at home and her mother, Mrs. Mary Klein of Waukesha. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 PM, at the Erling Larson Funeral Home, the Rev. Arnold Boucher of the Congregational Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Mrs. Rankin was  a member of the First Methodist church and the Royal Neighbors lodge. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4pm tomorrow.

Sharon Dian Rankin was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin August 06, 1941. She married Willard Evans in Waukesha, Wis., March 23, 1963.    Sharon died May 06, 1997 in Janesville, Wisconsin, at 55 years of age.

Sharon Diane Evans, age 55, of 4309 Silverwood, died Tuesday, May 6,1997, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1941, the daughter of Charles and Inez (Klein) Rankin Sr. She was the office and business manager of Bonded Fibers Midwest Division in Delavan. She is survived by her father, Charles W. Rankin Sr. of  Phillips, Wis.; a brother, Charles "Bill" (Kathy) Rankin Jr. , of Waukesha; a sister-in- law, Mary Meyers of Chicago; nieces and nephews, Marsha (Bob) Eldredge of Ohio, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Gretchen, Diana, Jacob and Joseph Rankin , all of Waukesha. There will be no services. Schneider Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

A son born 1954 in Waukesha, living in family home there in 2005.
