Morris Solomonson, who issued marriage licenses at Chicago during the year 1897, is responsible for the following combinations. Herald 24 May 1913 P. 2 C. 5 Farmers (Sic) Takes Life La Crosse--Two boys found the body of Elmer Slater, a farmer, 26 years old, hanging to a tree after he had been missing from his home near here for twent-four hours.
News 29 May 1913 P. 2 C. 8 Same as above but added at the end; No cause is known for the act.
Herald 3 Jan 1924 P. 2 C. 5 Antigo--The body of Frank Slater was found floating in Pelican Lake. Evidently he was drowned while fishing.
