ALMA GENETT


Alma Genett, 89, Greenwood, Clark County, died Sunday, June 7, 1992, at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 1992, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. Rev. Joseph R. Kraly will officiate and burial will be in the West Spencer Cemetery. Relatives will serve as pallbearers. Visitations will be from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 1992, at Rinka Funeral Home.


Alma Roum was born March 11, 1903, in Highland, to Alfred and Pauline (nee Arneson) Roum. She received her education in Highland. She married Vern Syth in 1923 in Greenwood. He preceded her in death in Sept. 1959. She married Robert Genett. He preceded her in death in 1980. She worked for Roddis and the shoe factory in Marshfield, living most of her life in the Greenwood area. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.


Survivors include three sons, Earl Syth, Spencer, Okla. Richard Syth, Loyal and Kenneth Syth, Greenwood six sisters, Mrs. Jesse (Lila) Keach, Viola Mrs. Threse Noah, Neillsville Mrs. Edna Mostert, Portland, Ore. Mrs. Wilma Venden, Ridgeway Mrs. Melva Wilhelm, Lantana, Fla. and Mrs. Ada Adams, Madison 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, one son, Dale one son in infancy one brother, William Roum Sr. and one sister, Marcella.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
