Louis Chaplinski
, 88, Gilman, WI, died Sunday, September 5, 1999 at his home.


Louie was born on March 15, 1911 in the Town of Aurora, the son of George and Anna (Sepieza) Chaplinski. He grew up in the Town of Aurora and was married to Anna Walczyk on February 20, 1943 at SS. Peter Paul Church in Gilman, WI. They farmed in the Town of Aurora for 30 years, then retired and moved to Lake Holcombe until 1987 when they moved back to Aurora and have lived there since. He has been in ill health since April of this year.


Survivors include his wife, Anna Chaplinski of Gilman, WI four sons: Michael (Karen) of Gilman, WI, Edward (Mary) of Gilman, WI, John (Trudy) of Thorp, WI, Jerry (Julie) of Gilman, WI five daughters: Adele, Mrs. Jerry Thompson of Thorp, WI, Virginia, Mrs. Leroy Konop of Stevens Point, WI, Alice, Mrs. Andy Syryczuk of Lublin, WI, Mary, Mrs. Rick Noonan of Thorp, WI, Pam, Mrs. Phil Jazdzewski of Gilman, WI 34 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren four sisters: Mrs. Mary Haller and Mrs. Vicki Duffy of Gilman, WI, Mrs. Henrietta Jarmoluk of Cary, IL, Mrs. Hatti Reiman of Medford, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents 3 brothers: Marlin, Mike, Andrew 1 sister Mrs. Dorothy Schley.


Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 8, 1999,m 10:30 a.m. at SS. Peter Paul Catholic Church, Gilman with Father Philip Juza officiating. Burial was in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Visitation was from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Gilman Funeral Home.

Louis Chaplinski, 88, Gilman, died Sunday morning, September 5, at his home. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman, with Rev. Philip Juza officiating. Burial took place in Meadowbrook Cemetery at Gilman.
Plombon Funeral Home in Gilman assisted the family with arrangements.


Louis Chaplinski was born March 15, 1911 in the Town of Aurora to the late George and Anna (Sepieza) Chaplinski. His marriage to Anna Walczyk, who survives him, took place on February 20, 1943 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman.


The couple farmed in the Town of Aurora for 30 years, then retired and moved to Lake Holcombe. In 1987, they moved back to the Town of Aurora.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Michael (Karen), Edward (Mary), and Jerry (Julie), all of Gilman, and John (Trudy) of Thorp, Clark County, WI five daughters, Adele (Jerry) Thompson of Thorp, Virginia, (Leroy) Konop of Stevens Point, Alice (Andy) Syryczuk of Lublin, Mary (Rick) Noonan of Thorp, and Pam (Phil) Jazdzewski of Gilman four sisters, Mary Haller and Vicki Duffy, both of Gilman, Henrietta Jarmoluk of Cary, Ill., and Hatti Reiman of Medford 34 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by three brothers, Marlin, Mike and Andrew and one sister, Dorothy Schley.
