ANOTHER OLD RESIDENT CALLED BY DEATH


Daniel S. Francis, one of the older residents of this city (Greenwood, Clark County), died at his home here early Friday morning of last week.


Mr. Francis was up and around as usual until about six o'clock Thursday evening when he became ill. Medical aid was summoned but he passed away early Friday morning, having reached the age of 82 years.


Deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Fannie Wollenberg of Madison and one son, Herbert A. Francis of Eau Claire.


Funeral services were held from the home Sunday afternoon. The body was laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery, Rev. T. O. Thompson officiating.
