HELEN GRASSEL (1908-2000)


Helen GRASSEL, age 92, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2000.


She was born on January 15, 1908, in Stanley to John and Josephine (BLACZSZYK) SMOCZYK.


Survivors include three daughters, Josephine (Nicholas) CHRISTON of Brookfield, Kathleen O'HARA of Milwaukee, and Patricia (Dr. John) ALLES of Oak Creek two sons, James O'HARA of Berkeley, CA, Emil (Leah) GRASSEL, Jr., of Seymour six grandchildren nine great grandchildren nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.


She is preceded in death by her husbands, Edward O'HARA and Emil GRASSEL.


Funeral services were held Friday, February 4, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Interment was at St. Adalbert Cemetery.


Max A. Sass Sons Funeral Home of Milwaukee was in charge of the arrangements.
