GREENWOOD--Mrs. Adolph (Adeline) Jackson of Greenwood, Clark County, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 1974 at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital. She was 70 years of age.


Services will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Officiating will be the Rev. David E. Wenger, pastor, and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home beginning Tuesday afternoon and at the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday, until time of services.


The former Adeline Eleanor Behrens was born April 18, 1904 in the Christie area and was married to Adolph Jackson on June 6, 1921 at Longwood. He preceded her in death Oct. 7, 1969.


Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Glen (Elaine) Zilk, Neillsville, Mrs. Wayne (Majorie) Herdrick, Greenwood, Mrs. Vern (Carole) Schuld, Menomonie, and Mrs. Curtis (Betty) Hong, Eau Claire three sons, Robert J. and Alan, both of Sparta, and Conrad, Eau Claire six sisters, Mrs. Ambrose (Irma) Herpzog, New Orleans, La., Mrs. Lucille Schmidt, Suring, Mrs. Churchill (Mildred) Eisenhardt, Maryland, Mrs. Lillian Redgren, Menomonie, Mrs. Rexford (Eileen) Buttenberg, Chicago, and Mrs. Harold (Edith) Warner, Chetek five brothers, Edwin Behrens, Lemont, Ill., Louis Behrens, Greenwood, Neil Behrens, Miami, Fla., William Behrens, Torrance, Calif., and Karl Behrens, Franklin Park, Ill., 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.


In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a brother.
