Frieda E. Klein (1905-1999)


Frieda Emma Klein, 93, formerly of Rib Lake, died Saturday, May 8, at Continental Manor Nursing Home in Abbotsford. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 12, at St. John's Lutheran Church in the Town of Wien with Rev. Roger Moldenhauer officiating.


Burial took place in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Dennis Punke, Lloyd Schultz, Greg Stark, Norman Witucki, Leonard Barnowski, and Randy Koehler.


Kraemer Funeral Home in Edgar was in charge of arrangements.


The former Frieda E. Zuleger was born November 5, 1905, in Medford to Otto and Mathilda (Frischman) Zuleger. Her marriage to George Klein took place on August 27, 1930, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Whittlesey.


She and her husband lived in Rib Lake until 1946. They then moved to the Town of Wien where they farmed until 1980. She enjoyed raising gladiolas.
Survivors include her husband, George of Abbotsford two sisters, Ann Ledesma of Medford and Hildegarde Bosse of Green Bay and three brothers, John and Hilbert (Frances), both of Medford, and Alvin Zuleger of Forest Lake, Minn.


She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Frank Zuleger.
