Logee, Henry Jr. (1933 - 1999)

Henry F. Logee Jr. Hank , 65, of Mukwonago, passed away Monday, April 19, 1999 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Henry was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Superior, WI on November 3, 1933 to Henry F. Sr. and Crystal (nee Stoecker) Logee. On December 28, 1963, he married Patrical A. Prueher in Thorp, WI. Henry received his BA and a Master in Music Education from UW-Superior. Henry taught music publicly and privately to students of all ages for 40 plus years in Superior, Viola, Thorp, Wausau and Mukwonago. He enjoyed performing as well, and has remarked that he never loved any activity as much as playing the accordion. Henry's love was his family and his passion was his music.

Henry was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago, and a former member of the Laflin Lodge 247 F. A.M., Mukwonago, and the Wauksha Musician Union.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Patricia four daughters: Jean (Wayne) Mengel of Letts, IA, Katherine Logee of San Francisco, CA, Julie (Ted) Quigley of Milwaukee and Renee (Todd) Logee-Hensersky of Greenfield one grandchild Sara Mengel four sisters: Fay Bratt of Sun Lakes, AZ, Pat (Bob) Lahti of Backus, MN, Delores (Jim) Guist of Stillwater, MN and Crystal (Carl) Cordts of Foxboro, WI his father-in-law Herman Prueher of Chippewa Falls other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Phyllis Kimball and 2 half-sisters.

Visitation was on Wednesday, April 21, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Schmidt Bartelt-Van Valin Funeral Home, Mukwonago, followed by a Funeral Mass at 7:00 pm. at St. James Catholic Church, Mukwonago with Father Robert J. Drutowski officiating.

Henry will be sorely missed by never forgotten. His love will continue through those who knew him, and his wisdom and talent through those he taught.
