Mary Artac, 81, Greenwood, Clark County, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1992. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 1992, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Rev. Steven Baures will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Sladich, Alan Urban, John E. Bailen, Michael Artac, John Trunkel and Tony Gosar Jr.


Visitations will be Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 4-6 p.m. at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood and from 7-9 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.


Mary Gosar was born May 9, 1911, in Illinois, to Frank and Mary (nee Rameger) Gosar. She received her education at Rocky Run School and attended Beauty Culture School in Waukegan, Ill. Before her marriage, she was a housekeeper, and beautician in Waukegan, Ill. She married Frank Artac April 27, 1946, in Willard. He survives. She worked with her husband in the plumbing and wiring business since 1946. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and KSKJ Slovenian Lodge.


Survivors include her husband two daughters, Mrs. John (Frances) Bailen, West Milwaukee and Mrs. Alan (Mary Ann) Urban, Franksville two sons, Bernard and Laurence, both of Greenwood one brother, Tony Gosar, Greenwood five sisters, Mrs. Sophia Trunkel and Mrs. Anne Sladich, both of Greenwood Mrs. John (Julia) Kuznacic, Sheboygan Mrs. Elton (Cecilia) Shaw, Marshfield and Mrs. Roman (Angie) Stroinski, Thorp nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.


She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Frank and one sister, Antonia.


Rinka Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
