OBITUARY OF MRS. WM. ROHLOFF


Bessie Agnes Stabnow Rohloff, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. F. Stabnow of the Town of Beaver, Clark County, was born at Cooperstown, N.D., on Oct. 19, 1908. At the age of four weeks she came with her mother to their home near Greenwood. At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized by Rev. Art Perkins of Wausau.


She graduated from the Loyal High School with the class of 1927, also of Teachers Training at Neillsville with the class of 1928, after which she taught two years.


On May 22, 1930, she was united in marriage to Wm. H. Rohloff of the Town of Unity, where since they made their home.


On Friday Sept. 18, 1931, she passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. At one o'clock on Sept. 21st, a short service was held at the home of her parents, from there the body was taken to the M.E. Church at Greenwood, Rev. Maddock officiating. Her body was laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery beside that of her sister Ethel, who preceded her in death in 1911.


She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, Wm. H. Rholoff and little son, Carl William, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aug. F. Stabnow, her brother Laroy of Mellen and sisters, Luella and Anna of Greenwood, besides a host of relatives and friends.


Those from away who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Laroy E. Stabnow and Wallace Himes of Mellen, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stabnow and Ernest Stabnow of North Freedom, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Dan Steuber and daughter Lucille of Prairie du Sac, Mr. and Mrs. Al Borchardt of Marathon City and Mrs. Aug. Selle and daughter Mrs. Dempsey of Abbotsford.
