Rites Set for Area Woman (b. 8/09/1920 d. 2/4/1973)


Services for Eleanor Meta Schwarze, 52, of Greenwood, who died at 6 AM, Sunday, Feb 4 at the Memorial Hospital in Neillsville, will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Jehovah Witness Readers, led by Jerome Berger of Neillsville, will conduct the service, and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Visitations may be made at the funeral home.


Miss Schwarze was born Aug. 9, 1920, in the town of Warner, in Greenwood, and never married. She had been residing at the Black River Apartments, where she fell and fractured her hip on Dec. 11. She was taken to the Memorial Hospital in Neillsville, where she has been until her death.


Survivors include three brothers, Richard Schwarze of New Castle, Wyo., Ewald and Orlin Schwarze, both of Greenwood and 11 nieces and nephews.


Preceding her in death were her parent, George and Frieda Schwarze, and a brother.

Services were held at 2 PM Wednesday at the Hill funeral home in Greenwood for Miss Eleanor Meta Schwarze, 52, Greenwood, who died Sunday at the Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.
Jerome Berger, Neillsville, of the Jehovah Witness Readers, conducted the service, and vurial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Pallbearers were Harlan Nielsen, Harris Nielsen, Stanley Schwarze, John Gullickson, Frank S. Zep, and Verne Schwarze.


Soloist was Henry Nielsen, who sang "Blessed be the Tie That Binds" and "O Master Let Me Walk With Thee", and the organist was Miss Berdell Nielsen.
