Daniel J. Skwierczynski, 58, formerly of the Thorp area, now of St. Paul, MN, died Saturday, December 11, 1999 at St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Paul, MN.


Daniel was born May 9, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Stanley and Marge (Ustianowski) Skwierczynski. He drove semi-truck for Dart Transport for the past 19 years. He was former owner of Bar II Tavern at Rock Dam, Willard-Thorp area.


Surviving are two sons: Dave of Hanover Park, IL, Don of England two daughters: Dawn Elrod and Debbie Bennett, both of Fort Myers, FL 9 grandchildren two brothers: Jim Skwierczynski of Des Moines, IA and Stanley Skwierczynski of Fairchild, WI.


Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 14, 1999, 10:30 a.m. at the Thorp Funeral Home Chapel, Thorp with Rev. John Puerner officiating. Burial was in East Thorp Cemetery, Thorp. Visitation was at Thorp Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m. until time of services Tuesday.
