RICKY RIEDEL


Funeral services were conducted at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, for Ricky Riedel, 19, Route 1, Granton, Clark County.


Riedel was killed early Saturday morning, April 16, 1977, when the car he was driving on County Trunk V in Wood County went through a stop sign and struck a westbound pickup truck driven by Gregory Nycz of Marshfield.


Rev. E. T. Keller, Pittsville, officiated and burial was made in the Lynn Cemetery.


Ricky Riedel was born at Marshfield on May 28, 1957, and received his education at Granton schools, graduating in 1975 from Granton High School. He was employed by the Wisconsin Performance Warehouse, Marshfield.


Surviving him are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Riedel, Granton one sister, Mrs. Bruce (Linda) Waggoner, Sault St. Marie, Mich. two brothers, Ronnie and Rocky, both at home maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nowack, Granton and his paternal grandfather, Alfred Riedel, Granton.


Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Mrs. Alfred (Addie) Riedel.
