OBITUARY OF MRS. R.A. MASTERS


Elizabeth Sleeter
was born Feb. 26, 1864 at Fairchild, Wis., and died at her home in Greenwood, Clark County Thursday afternoon, Nov. 27, 1930 at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 27 days, the cause of her death being a cerebral hemorrhage.


On March 7, 1881 she was united in marriage to Rockwell A. Masters at Fairchild, Wis., and to this union were born six children, Bertha (Mrs. R. Meek) of Rib Lake, Wis. Margaret (Mrs. B. A. Johnson) Of Kenosha, Wis. Dora (Mrs. E. L. Ketchpaw) of Greenwood, Wis. Estella (Mrs. M. Erickson) of Longwood, Wis. Roy of Milwaukee, Wis., and Russell of Montgomery, Ala.


She made her home at Fairchild until 1902 when, with her husband and family, she moved to Greenwood where she lived until her death.
She was a kind and loving wife and mother and was esteemed by all who knew her and her untimely death will be felt by all.


Those left to mourn her death are her husband and six children, ten grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers. All attended the funeral except on son, Russell of Montgomery, Ala., and one sister, Mrs. K. Shufer of Vancouver, B.C. who were unable to be present.
Funeral services were held from St. Mary's Catholic Church Monday morning at 10:00 and interment was made at the Catholic Cemetery, Rev. J. Novak officiating.


Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Sleeter of Antigo, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sleeter, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Sleeter, Mrs. Susan Bullion and Mrs. Fred Melcher, all of Fairchild, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bullion of Foster and Miss Katherine Coan of Stevens Point, Wis.
