R. A. MASTERS DIES SUDDENLY


Rockwell A. Masters
died very suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Meek, at Stevens Point, where he was visiting, Friday afternoon, Dec. 22, 1933, the cause of his death being cerebral embolism.


Deceased was born at Plainfield, Wis., March 22, 1860, and was 73 years and 9 months of age at the time of his death. On March 7, 1881, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Sleeter at Fairchild, Wis. To this union were born six children. Mrs. Masters died Nov. 27, 1930.


Surviving relatives include four daughters and two sons, Bertha (Mrs. Ralph Meek) of Stevens Point Margaret (Mrs. B.A. Johnson), Kenosha Dora (Mrs. E. L.Ketchpaw), Greenwood Stella (Mrs. Melvin Erickson), Longwood Roy Masters, Milwaukee and Russell Masters, Montgomery, Ala. There are 10 grandchildren.


Mr. Masters has been a resident of Greenwood, Clark County for the past 31 years, coming here from Fairchild with his family in 1902.
Funeral services were held from St. Mary's Catholic Church Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery, Rev. G. F. Schuh officiating.
