JAMES KILLION DIES AT HOSPITAL


James Killion,
45, farmer of the town of Eaton, Clark County, for many years, died at St. Joesph's Hospital, Marshfield, at 3:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 1935, as a result of a ruptured appendix.


Mr. Killion was taken suddenly ill Sunday, May 19, and entered the hospital fro an operation on Tuesday.


James Elmer Killion was born Oct. 9, 1890, at Plainville, Davis County, Indiana. On Jan. 1, 1912 he was united in marriage to Alice Hindes. Five children were born to this union.


Surviving him are his wife and three children, Irene, Gwendolyn and Elmer, all at home, Hugh died in infancy and Lyle died in 1929. He also leaves his father and mother, who reside in Plainville, Ind., five sisters, Irene Hill, Rochester, Ind., Mildred Couse, Vincense, Ind. Effie Hayes and Lula Christenson, Madison, Wis. Bessie Mead, Kankakee, Ill. three brothers, Wiley and Cecil, Indianapolis, Ind. and Benjamin, Matoone, Ind.


Deceased was a loving husband and father and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Methodist Episcopal Church, following brief rites at the Killion home, Rev. Glenn Shanks officiating. The body was taken to Briggsville, Portage County, Monday, for burial.


The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved family in their sudden bereavement.
