OBITUARY OF MRS. FRANK PREBIL


Mrs. Frank Prebil was born in Pljava Gorcia, Yugoslavia on March 1, 1880 and spent her early life there, coming to Ely, Minn., where she was married to Frank Prebel Aug. 24, 1904 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. They came to Willard, Clark County in 1918 and purchased a farm about 2 miles west of there, where they have resided ever since.


She passed away Wednesday, Sept 24, 1941 after a long illness. A Requiem High Mass was read at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Rev. Raphael Stragisher officiated. She was laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery.


She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and of the society of St. Ajrilus and Metodus J.S.K.J.


She is survived by her husband, two sons, Frank of Willard and Anthony at at home and four daughters, Mrs. Wm. (Mary) Zimmerman, Beaver Dam Mrs. Frances Evans, Chicago Mrs. Roy (Pauline) Winkenwarder, Watertown and Elsie at home six grandchildren a brother, John Skerjanc of Ely Minn. A sister preceded he in death.


The pallbearers were Frank Lesar, Jos. Perme, Anton Merkun, Frank Francel Sr., Jos. Perko Sr. and John Lesar.


Those from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Skerjane, Mrs. Mautz and Mr. Mikolich, Ely, Minn. Mrs. Roy Winkenwarder, Watertown Mrs. Wm. Zimmerman, Beaver Dam and Mrs. Evans, Chicago, Ill.
