RUG BUKER FUNERAL RITES HELD MONDAY
GREENWOOD MAN WAS HEAD OF CLARK COUNTY CONSERVATION LEAGUE

Greenwood Funeral services for Orlando Chester Rug Buker, 41, who died suddenly from a heart attack Friday evening, July 17, 1942, were held at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Buker, here Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. P. H. Franzmeier officiating.

Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

During the service Mrs. Louis Behrens and Mrs. Herbert Schwarze sang Savior Like A Shepherd Lead Us, accompanied by Miss Mabel Bishop.

Pallbearers included Gale, Hiles, James Metcalf, Don Warner, Merrill Hare, Harry Liebzeit, and H.R. Baird.

Those here from out of town were Herbert Heil, Gales Hiles, Miss Marie Kunze, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Neff, Neillsville Al Basten, Rhinelander D. M. Grode, Nekoosa Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Palms, Kansas City, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Etta and daughter, Valerie, and son, Bobbie, Dr. G. A. Legault, A. H. Legault, Owen, Rudy Buchhereger, Marathon City Miss Eleanor Krieg, Mrs. Sue Warner, Mrs. And Mrs. Joseph Krieg, all of Marshfield Chuck Legault, Wausau Mr. and Mrs. Perry Volk, Mr. and Mrs. George Schellinger, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Rossow and daughter, all Loyal.

Orlando Rug Buker, son of Edwin and Anna Wehrman Buker, was born in Greenwood, Clark County on Oct. 26, 1900, and attended the Greenwood Public School, graduating from the high school here in 1919. He then attended the Central State Teacher's College, Steven Point, for one year. For the next 15 years he was engaged in musical work.

Mr. Buker was married to Miss Mary Ann Rigillo at Rhinelander on Aug. 16, 1032. The family returned to Greenwood in 1937 and Mr. Buker opened a Coast to Coast Store here. He was president of the Clark County Conservation League this year.

Surviving besides his wife are three children, Edward Gregory, Donna Mae, and John Scott.
