--Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hill Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Sylvester Theodore Hinker, 60, of Greenwood, Clark County, who died at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 1972 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient since Jan. 24.


The Rev. Leander A. Koopman, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.


Visitations may be made at the Hill Funeral Home. A general rosary will be recited there at 8 p.m. today (Monday). Mr. Hinker was born June 26, 1911 in Fort Atkinson, Iowa and came to the Greenwood area in 1913 and received his education here. The family settled on a farm south of Greenwood and he had since made his home there. He was married to Barbara Pink, May 9, 1933 in Greenwood.


He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society, and had served as supervisor of the Town of Eaton for a number of years.


Survivors include his wife a daughters, Mrs. Lester (JoAnn) Kaiser, Stratford nine sons, Jerome, James, Allen and Robert, all of Greenwood Eugene, Loyal Ronald, Wausau Francis, Marshfield Lawrence, Newton Square, Pa. and William at home 24 grandchildren his mother, Mrs. Frances Hinker, Marshfield two brothers, Marcellus, Effingham, Ill. and Cletus, Burbank, Ill. and a sister, Mrs. Gregg (Edna) Hinker, Ossian, Ill.


He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Hinker and two brothers, Richard and Alphonse Hinker.
