Nicosan, Ida Louise (1894 - 1965)


GREENWOOD--Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Hill Funeral Home here for Mrs. Ida Nicosan, 70, who died unexpectedly Saturday morning, Sept. 9, 1965, at her home in Greenwood, Clark County. The Rev. Carl Booher, pastor of the Grace Methodist Church here officiated.


The body was then taken to Truro, Iowa, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kale Funeral Home. Burial will be made in St. Charles Cemetery, St. Charles, Iowa.


The former Ida Louise Fincke was born Nov. 1, 1894, in Chicago. Her marriage to Angus Nicosan took place in Nov. 1917, at New Virginia, Iowa. After the death of her husband on March 15, 1961, she came to Greenwood.


Her only survivor is a sister, Miss Ella F. McGinnes, Arlington, Va.


Two brothers preceded her in death.
