Scharenbrock, Julia Anna (1877 - 1959)


GREENWOOD--Mrs. Julia Scharenbrock, 82, Willard, Clark County, died of complication Tuesday morning, Oct. 13, 1959, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Trybula, Willard. She had been in poor health several years.


Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard, with the Rev. Aloysius Madic officiating. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.


The body is reposing at the Hill Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday.


The former Julia Anna Adolph was born Feb. 27, 1877, in the Town of Meeme, Manitowoc County. She received her education in the Town of Meeme, and Oct. 21, 1902, she married John Scharenbrock in St. Fidilus Church. After their marriage they lived in Sheboygan for 1 years. In 1913 they moved to a farm in the Greenwood area. Three years later they moved to a farm north of Willard, where she had lived since. Her husband preceded her in death in 1925.


She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.


Surviving are one son, John Scharenbrock, Chicago, Ill. six daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marie) Bourque, Chicago, Ill. Mrs. George (Anne) Lauer, Stanley Mrs. Ludwig (Elizabeth) Jordan and Mrs. Henry (Julia) Trybula, both of Willard Mrs. Herbert (Alice) Kurth, Neillsville Mrs. Brian (Marcella) Glass, Granton 22 grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Frank Schommer of Sheboygan.


One son, Andrew, preceded her in death in 1921.
