Sambs, Raymond (1911 - 1956)

 


GREENWOOD Funeral Rites will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Catholic Church in Tigerton for Raymond Sambs, 45, Greenwood, Clark County, who died of a heart attack in his sleep Sunday night at the home of his brother, Frank Sambs, at Tigerton. He had been on a weekend visit there.


Burial will be made at Tigerton, the deceased's home town, where he was born April 22, 1911. He was employed as a radio and television repairman in Greenwood for the past four year, coming here from Willard, where he was engaged in farming until ill health forced him to retire from the occupation.


He is survived by his wife, the former Arlene Zarnke, and three children, Katherine 12, John 9, and Christie, 7.
