Bayuk, Joseph (1904 - 1990)
 

Joseph Bayuk, 85, Route 1, Willard, died at 3:20 p.m. on April 6, 1990, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 10, 1990, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. Rev. James Lesczynski officiated. Burial was in Holy Family Cemetery. Grandsons served as pallbearers.


Joseph Bayuk was born Nov. 1, 1904 in St. Stephen's Minn., to John and Balbina (Omin) Bayuk. He received his education through the sixth grade in Willard schools. He farmed in his early years in Ohio, then in Willard, in the Town of Hendren. He married Dorothy Palms on Nov. 30, 1935, in Willard. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1985. He then worked as a carpenter in Illinois. He moved to Rock Dam in 1967. After retiring he moved to Willard. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard.


Surviving him are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Patrick (Monica) Daley, Palos Hills, Ill. Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Holley, Bell, Fla. one son, Joseph Jr., Joliet, Ill. three brothers, Albert, Joliet, Ill. Edward, Willard Frank, Greenwood four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Fortuna, West Chester, Ill. Mrs. Mayme Cesnik, Tucson, Ariz. Mrs. Rudy (Verna) Hollman, Greenwood Mrs. Al (Florence) Klinke, Greenwood 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.


Preceding him in death were on daughter, Evelyn Bolz one brother and two sisters.


Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
