Imig, Ruth E. (1920 - 1990)


Ruth E. Imig, 69, Neillsville, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 1990, at Neillsville Memorial Home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1990, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville. Father Joseph N. Henseler officiated and burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Barth, Robert Skroch, Walter Lohmeier, James Skroch, Pat Bauer, and Ken Schlegel.


Ruth Skroch was born July 29, 1920, in Independence, to Paul and Julia (nee Rumpell) Skroch. She was educated in Neillsville and graduated from Neillsville High School. She worked at Schultz Brothers Store from 1938 - 1943. She married Elton Imig at Neillsville in 1943. He survives. She worked as a house wife until entering the Neillsville Memorial Home in 1984.


Survivors include her husband and one brother, Ernest Skroch.


She is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother.


Gesche Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
