Meredith, Ruth H. (1901 - 1990)


Ruth H. Meredith, 89, Neillsville, died Monday, June 11, 1990, at 8:05 a.m. at Neillsville Memorial Home. Graveside services were held Tuesday, June 12, 1990, at Greenwood City Cemetery. Rev. James Gordon officiated.


Ruth Meredith was born May 5, 1901, in Kenosha County, to William and Mary Ann (Flannery) Meredith. She came to the Greenwood area in 1920 with her brothers and sisters, and lived there her entire life until she entered Neillsville Memorial Home in 1984. She never married.


Survivors include two Nieces, Mrs. Roland (Janet) Jenni, Neillsville Mrs. John (Alice) Flitter, Stillwater, Minn., and one nephew, Tom Meredith.


Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and two sister.


Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., Neillsville was in charge of the arrangements.
