Kaiser, Maude (1904 - 1990)


Maude Kaiser, 85, Colby, died Monday, Aug. 20, 1990, at Colonial Living Center, Colby. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 22, 1990, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Rev. Jim Lesczynski officiated and burial was in the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Cadott. Pallbearers were grandsons Randy Kaiser, Steve Kaiser, John Kaiser, Pat Kaiser, Lenny Kaiser, Mike Kaiser and Danny Kaiser.


Maude Maxwell was born Nov. 9, 1904, in Amherst, to Agnes and Jesse (nee Lynch) Maxwell. She received her education in Chippewa Falls schools.


She married Frank Kaiser, June 1, 1926, at St. Rose of Lima Church, Cadott. He preceded her in death in 1983. They lived in Cadott until 1950, when they moved to Loyal, where they farmed in the town of Beaver until 1971. They then moved to the town of Warner, where they lived in retirements. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and Lone Pine Homemakers Club.


Survivors include three sons, Bernard Kaiser, Loyal, Jack Kaiser, Auburndale and Harold Kaiser, Hudson one daughter, Mrs. Jay (Virginia) Perone, Eau Claire one sister, Mrs. Hazel Lueck, Bloomer two brothers, Neil Maxwell, Calif. and Art Maxwell, Chippewa Falls 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her husband, one son, Edward, sisters, Jeanette and Lucille, and two sisters in infancy.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
