Schaub, Henry C. (1808 - 1990)


Henry C. Schaub, 81, Neillsville, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 1990, at 8:02 p.m. at Neillsville Memorial Home. A memorial mass was held Thursday, Feb. 15, 1990, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville. Cremation rites were accorded.


Henry Schaub was born Oct. 1, 1908, in Lennox, Iowa, to Frank and Mary (Fabritz) Schaub. He received his education there. Hem married Thelma A. Goodwin in Chicago, Ill., in 1939. They moved to Neillsville in 1957. He worked on construction for several years. He started working at the IGA Grocery store in Neillsville in 1962, and worked there until his retirement.


Survivors include one son, Thomas L. Schaub, Neillsville two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Isabelle) Mick, Payson, Ariz. Dr. Celia Halas, Scottsdale, Ariz. one brother, Lawrence Schaub, Dickey, N.D. and one grandchild.


Preceding him in death were his parents, wife in Nov. 1959, four brothers and one sister.


Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., handled the arrangements.
