Bealer, Oscar (1906 - 1991)


Oscar Bealer, 84, Chili, died Monday, May 6, 1991, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 8, 1991, at 2:30 p.m. at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton. Rev. Thomas LaChapelle officiated and burial was in Yolo Cemetery, town of Fremont, Clark County. Nephews served as pallbearers.


Oscar Bealer was born June 5, 1906, in the town of Fremont, Clark County, to Paul and Louis (nee Lehnerr) Bealer. He received his education in the town of Fremont and at Marshfield High School. After school he farmed in the town of Fremont on the family farm, retiring in 1968. He was a member of Southern Clark County Sportsman's Club, Granton.


Survivors include several nieces and nephews.


He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.


Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, handled the arrangements.
