Bielen, Eva (1925 - 1982)


Eva Bielen, 56, Route 1, Loyal, Town of Beaver, Clark County, died at 2:12 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1982, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 11, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Officiating will be Rev. James Logan. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Visitations will be after 3 p.m., Wednesday, at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. A 3:15 P.C.C.W. Rosary Service and a 7:30 p.m. Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday.

Eva Kuranda was born to Casmer and Agnes (nee Antolak) Kuranda at Chicago on Nov. 15, 1925. She was educated at Victor School in Mosinee.

She and Alois Bielen were married on May 31, 1947, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mosinee.

After their marriage, they lived in Mosinee from 1947 until 1949. They lived in Chicago until 1951, when they moved to the Town of Beaver, where they farmed until 1967. She then worked at Weyerhaeuser in Marshfield until her illness in 1980.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its Ladies Altar Society.

She is survived by her husband, Alois three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Beverly) Pettis of Cadott, Mrs. Clarence (Lois) Henry, Jr. of Waukon, Iowa and Mrs. Stephen (Susan) Wolf of Marshfield two sons, David of Marshfield and Paul of Madison three brothers, Frank Kuranda of Glendale Heights, Ill., William Kuranda of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and Walter of Wauconda, Ill. four sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Angeline) Williams, Round Lake, Ill., Mrs. Agnes Castrow of Wausau, Mrs. Harry (Sophie) Pachniak of Edgar and Mrs. George (Christine) Riesselmann of Kenosha and seven grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents two brothers and two sisters. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, is in charge of arrangements.
