Buse, Emil A. (1893 - 1983)


Emil A. Buse, 89, of 105 W. Buse St., Spencer, died at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 2, 1983, at his home

Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. Officiating was Rev. William Ruhbusch. Interment was in the West Spencer Cemetery, with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Emil Buse was born to August and Amelia (nee Heinz) Buse in the Town of Sherman, Clark County on April 14, 1893.

On Feb. 17, 1920, he and Esther Rusch were married in the Town of Loyal.

He lived most of his life on the family farm, with the exception of two years, which were spent in the state of Washington, and two years in the Watertown area. In 1956, he retired and moved to Spencer.

He served on the Cole School Board in the Town of Sherman and on the Trinity Lutheran School Board, Spencer.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving him is his wife. Esther one son, Wilbur of Spencer four daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Isabelle) Bruesewitz of Spencer, Mrs. Jack (Rhoda) Pengelly of Hartford, Mrs. Art (Bernice) Kuchnmichael of Portland, Ore. and Mrs. Charles (Audrey) Sautner of Racine 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents five sisters and one brother.

Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, handled arrangements.
