Faber, Ruth (1936 - 1983)


Funeral service for Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Faber, 47, of 303 W. Miller St., Greenwood, Clark County, were at (7 a.m., Oct. 14, 1983) , at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood.

Mrs. Faber died at 7 a.m., Friday, Oct. 14, 1983, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Officiating at the service was Rev. Michael Mertens. Burial was in the parish cemetery, with Burdell Rust, Jeff Hoeper, Pat Sedlacek, Dennis Triedeau, Jim Auman and Ron Welch serving as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, handled arrangements

Ruth Rust was born on Aug. 31, 1936, in Spencer to Herman and Faye (nee Collins) Rust. She was educated at Spencer Grade School and Greenwood High School.

She and Robert Faber were married in Greenwood on Aug. 11, 1961. They lived in Marshfield for four years and then moved to Racine for one year, returning to Greenwood in 1967. At the present time, she was employed by St. Mary's School.

She was a member of st. Mary's catholic Church and St. Ann's Society.

Surviving her are her husband one daughter, Kimberly, at home three brothers, Jim Rust of Greenwood, Herman Rust, Jr. of Chippewa Falls and Richard Rust of Marshfield three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Bogdonovich of Willard, Mrs. Herbert (Darlene) Dodge of Shreveport, La., and Mrs. Dale (Elaine) Rizzolo of St. Charles, Mo.
