Coggins, Mrs. Sanford ( - 26 OCT 1889)

Mrs. Sanford (Nellie C.) Coggins died at the family residence in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), last Saturday evening at 8 o'clock, after a sort illness. She leaves five children, her husband, and numerous other relatives to mourn her loss, Mrs. Edgbert, of this city, Mrs. Spencer, of Necedah, Albert Harriman, of Melrose, and James Harriman, of Necedah, are sisters and brothers of the deceased. Mrs. Coggins was a devoted wife and mother, giving her time to the care of her children rather than to society which had less claim upon her. Her loss will be felt among her intimate friends who so well knew her work and worth in life.

The funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday, Revs. J. D. Brothers, J. H. McManus and Geo. Case Officiating. The sympathy of the community is tendered the stricken husband and children.
