Jaseph Nellie (1849 - 4 JUN 1890)

Died, in Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., June 4th, 1890, Mrs. Nellie Dole Jaseph, wife of Mr. Sol F. Jaseph, aged 40 years.

She was the eldest daughter of Hon. A. O. Dole, of Poynette, Wis., who died in 1876. Having been born in West Springfield, Mass., she came with her parents to Wisconsin at the age of six years. Her sister Florence died at Poynette, Wis., in 1873. Her mother still survives with one son, Frank Dole of Wausau, Wis. Jan. 11th, 1873, she was married and came to Neillsville to reside. Here she became at once a prominent member of the Presbyterian Church, which was then holding meetings in the old court house. For many years she was a faithful member of the choir. Also, she was very efficient as an organist. While health and thoughts permitted she was a faithful teacher in the Sabbath school. In all departments she was noted for her unselfish character. Her illness was long and severe. During previous years, also, she had been a great sufferer. Some months ago la grippe was superceded by consumption in the worst form, until medical skill was completely baffled. Her last days were noted for patience, and her last hours for a patient and joyful resignation. Her end was peace. Her death was simply triumphant. Between four and five o'clock Wednesday morning, she call for mother, husband and four dear children to see how peaceably a dear one could depart to be forever with the Savior.

Her funeral will take place from the residence at 2 p.m., Friday, with services conducted by pastor, the Rev. W. T. Hendren.
