Rose, Francis W. (MAR 1813 - 6 May 1892)


Died, on Friday, May 6, 1892, Francis W. Rose, at the residence of his son James, of erysipelas, at the age of 79 years, two months.

Mr. Rose was born in Connecticut, and at an early age moved to New York, where he lived a number of years. He came to Wisconsin in 1872, and settled in Washington Co., where he lived until 1879, when he moved his family to Clark County. He was married twice, and has reared eleven children, eight of whom are now living.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon, and conducted by Rev. McKenzie.
