Montgomery, Gelana B. (10 JAN 1827 - 28 JUN 1892)

 

Mrs. Gelana B. Montgomery died at her residence on Court Street (Neillsville, Clark County), Wednesday morning June 28, 1892 at 5 o'clock, of (couldn't read the disease), at the age of 65 years.

She was born in Congress, Wayne Co. Ohio, Jan. 30, 1827, married to Mr. Geo. W. Montgomery, who is now dead, in 1844. In 1861 they came to Wisconsin and settled at Sparta, where they resided about twelve years. In 1873 they came to Neillsville, where they have since resided.

She has had six girls and one boy, only two of which are now living. Mrs. Eva E. Dixon and Mrs. Ada Edwards. Mr. Montgomery died some three or four years ago.
