Sowieja, James A. (10 DEC 1928 - 21 APR 2002)

 

OWEN - James Anthony Sowieja, 73, of Owen, died April 21, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Longwood. Inurnment will be in North Green Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with the arrangements.

He was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Duluth, Minn., to Vincent and Mary (nee Zwilling) Sowieja. He married Vivian Miller on June 30, 1956, in Greenwood. He worked at Foremost Foods in Owen for 34 years and part time delivering Meals-on-Wheels for the Clark County Department of Aging.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Sowieja of Owen two sons, James Jr. (Cindy) Sowieja and Rick Sowieja, both of Owen three grandchildren and his brother, Jerry (Elsie) Sowieja of Greenwood.
